Ingredients
  

  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles optional, for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange the crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir until fully combined and bubbling.
  • Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the crackers. Spread it quickly with a spatula if needed.
  • Bake the caramel-covered crackers for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Let them melt, then spread evenly with a spatula.
  • Add sprinkles for a festive touch (optional).
  • Let the candy cool completely, then refrigerate for 1 hour until firm.
  • Break into pieces and serve or store in an airtight container.
