Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1-2 tbsp jalapeño powder (or adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Fresh jalapeño slices (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare Popcorn

  • Heat a large pot over medium heat and add 1-2 tablespoons of oil. Add popcorn kernels and cover with a lid. Shake the pot occasionally as the kernels pop. Once popping slows, remove from heat.

Season the Popcorn

  • In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, jalapeño powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Combine and Serve

  • Pour the popcorn into the bowl with the seasoning mixture and toss well to coat. For extra spice, add fresh jalapeño slices.

Optional: Bake for Crispness

  • For a crunchier texture, spread the seasoned popcorn on a baking sheet and bake at 250°F for 10 minutes.
